4th of July, 2024 – Debut Concert

The Band performed on the stage at Prosser City Park on July 4, 2024. This was our very first concert! For the morning performance we played some well-known patriotic songs (Grand Old Flag, America, Stars and Stripes, etc) while accompanying the VFW Flag-Raising Ceremony. During the afternoon performance we played a narrated rendition of Gettysburg Address, Tribute (Taps), More Cowbell, Smoke on the Water and Prosser’s Fight Song.

Prosser State’s Day, September 2, 2024

The Band performed on the stage at Prosser City Park on September 2, 2024 for Prosser’s annual celebration, State’s Day.

Harvest Festival, September 29, 2024

The Band performed on the stage in downtown Prosser for Harvest Festival on Sunday, September 29, 2024.

Prosser Farmers Market – October, 2024

After welcoming ‘Butch the Coug’ by playing the WSU Fight Song while he ran through the crowd, the band peformed their repertoire of songs, including a few with an Oktoberfest theme. It was a lovely day in Prosser City Park!

Christmas at the Princess – December 19, 2024

On December 19, 2024 the band put on a concert at the Princess Theatre, together with Rolling Hills Chorus. It was a delightful evening filled with holiday spirit.

4th of July, July 2025

On July 4, 2025 the band put on a concert on the Sylvan Stage in Prosser City Park. This year, we added the Service Songs, in recognition of those in our community who have served, or currently serve, in the military. It was our honor to play the Star Spangled Banner for the VFW Flag-Raising Ceremony.

Collaboration with Yakima Valley Community Band – September 15, 2025

Music brings people together! That was certainly the case when over 200 people gathered under the lovely shade trees at Englewood Christian Church in Yakima to listen to three bands: Yakima Valley Community Band, Yakima Valley Big Band and Prosser Community Band. Thank you to Josh Parrill and all those who made us feel so welcome!

Harvest Festival, September 28, 2025

On Sunday, September 28, Prosser Community Band performed for the second time at Harvest Festival in Historic Downtown Prosser during Great Prosser Balloon Rally weekend. The band is made up of dedicated volunteers from the community, representing a wide range of musical backgrounds and experience levels. Their enthusiasm and passion for music shine through in every performance, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere for festival-goers. The program featured crowd favorites such as Beer Barrel Polka and Best of the West. Adding to the excitement, the newly-formed Prosser Community Jazz Band also took to the stage! Special thanks go to the Prosser Chamber of Commerce and Princess Theatre for their support during this wonderful event!
